GO BIG GREEN!!!!

We had an exciing week following the Dragon varsity basketball team in their sectional tournament. All games were played in Duluth, so our family headed up to UMD on Saturday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. The Dragons defeated Esko and Deer River, but lost in the section finals to Braham by four points. The guys played hard and we were proud to be sporting Pine City Green at the games. By Thursday, we were all exhausted so it is good that we are now on Spring Break (end of the quarter too).
We spent today cleaning and getting caught up on things around the house. We will be hosting our families on Sunday after church for lunch. It will be good to get everyone together!

Long time, No blog

Wow - it has been almost a month since my last blog! A lot has happened in that time, and that is probably the reason I have not had a posting! I am in my 'official' training for Grandma's marathon. This is the fourth week on following the training schedule and running pon the treadmill is getting old...I need the snow and ice to melt off the rroad so I can get outside! I am looking forward to running with 'Crazy Aunt Deb' in June...And to think her nickname came from Grandma's marathon a few years back! So far the running has not been too hard on the joints...the bones are quickly approaching 40!
Noah has almost finished his basketball season...just when you think they are about done..along comes another scrimmage or game. Thursday night they will play the Rush City Team during half time of the Dragon's varsity game. The boys, both 5th grade and varsity, have had very successful seasons.
We have been trying to pull Jake's front tooth. It has been hanging in his mouth for a while now, very out of place and crooked! Jake, Noah, Mitchell (a friend of Noah), Misha, Ruslan (a friend of Misha), Dennis and I all went to the Timberwolves game last Tuesday night and saw them defeat the Jazz. It was a great game, even though we were up as high as you can go in the Target Center (but, center court).
Lydia has been busy with gymnastics. She brought Jake last week so that he could try out all the equipment. Lydia improves so much each week and now is practicing cartwheels all over the house!
Deb an I had the opportunity to go to a Minnesota Wild game with Jill and Tom a few weekends ago. We had a nice lunch - just adults- and a good time at the game. Thanks again to grandma judy for watching the kids!
Ok - time to go, but I will not let it go afour weeks between blogs again!
