T-Wolves....and Garnett

Yeah the T-wolves miss Garnett, but he made an appearance at the Target Center on Friday night as the Celtics were in town. KG did not play, since he has an abdominal strain, but the crowd gave him a loud and long welcome before he left the arena. Thanks to Jill and Tom for invitind Deb and I to the game. They had rented a suite at the Target Center and provided their guests with great food, drink, and just an overall good time! The Wolves lost at the buzzer after having an opportunity to win with just seconds remaining!
The kids (except Misha) spent the night at Papa and grandma Sue's house. They all headed out to Unity to watch cousing Trent play b-ball. Grandma also provided pancakes in the morning! They loved it!
Misha headed to Braham to watch the Dragons take on the Bombers. The Dragons could not quite pull it off this time, so we are tied for first in the conference with the Bombers.

A BIG Win!

The PC Hoops team captured the first place title at the North Branch tournament on Saturday. The team has improved over the season and bettered their 2nd place finish from the Fredrick WI tournament. The boys defeated a New Richmond WI team, followed by a Hudson WI team, then a Chisago Lakes team. In the finals, they beat North Branch and noah went one for one on three point attempts! It was an exciting day and was fun to have Grandma Judy, Papa, and Grandma Sue all take in some of the games! Noah's teacher, Mrs. Olson, came to cheer on the boys too! As the season winds down, Noah has really enjoyed playing with the older guys. They are a great bunch!

First grade program

Jake had his first grade program on Thursday night. The students sang songs from, and about, different countries around the world. There were also a variety of musical instruments and some dancing. Jake also had a speaking part, talking about the Alps in Europe. He practiced and practiced, and did a great job. Papa and Grandma Sue were able to make it over to see Jake on stage too.
On Friday, Jake went to his buddy Justin's birthday party. They went swimming and ate pizza at a hotel in North Branch. He was a pretty tired boy by Friday night!
